Value Play: R7 – #4 Wags To Riches

Race 1: 6-5-2-1

(#6) John The Baptist is an interesting choice who hasn’t raced since November. He cruised at this level late last year off the bench. Has the speed if he’s ready.

Race 2: 6-5-8-9

Dartboard race. (#6) Gazebo is a $50,000 purchase from Lexington who qualified fine on 4/30 and importantly stayed flat. Tote board will tell us a lot.

Race 3: 6-2-4-5

(#6) Dandy’s Pandemic ran up the score last week after getting to the lead. Does he have more speed?

Race 4: 8-2-9-1-5

(#8) Angeliki is the most reliable horse in this field. Should be blasting and try to avoid early trouble.

Race 5: 9-5-2-8

(#9) Hello In There would probably be the second choice if she drew post five. She flew home late off the bench. Give her okay cover? Watch out.

Race 6: 2-3-1-8

(#2) Yen Hanover will prefer this class. Just needs to not get away so far back.

Race 7: 4-5-8-1-9

(#4) Wags To Riches gets another chance. I like the addition of Wilder, can work out a nice trip with her.

Race 8: 1-3-4-7

(#1) Commander Frank has looked really good at four, albeit in limited starts, but continues to get faster. Big test but price will be right.

Race 9: 6-4-8-7

(#6) Mystical Peter gets a huge drop in class. Has the back class to cruise against this field.

Race 10: 2-3-4-1

(#2) Northern Magenta needed that last start after breaking twice in April. She’s capable, just needs to behave.

Race 11: 3-1-6-7

(#3) The Last Song got the tables turned on him by Spirit Of Miki last time but raced fine. Should be up close.

Race 12: 3-7-1-6

(#3) Up Helly Aa should be pointed forward and put in a good spot today. Raced in the Open last month.

Race 13: 1-7-4-8-3

(#1) Hungry For Kisses will try to rebound at a likely short price. Catch her to cash.
